Hi Readers!
You all know how much of a planner I am. You can
clearly see that from the 20 Things to do in 2020 post. While I am always
organized in most matters, there is one important area where I am haphazard.
And that, dear readers, is shockingly READING!
I never plan on the number of books to read in a month. I never decide to read
specific titles. I always read as per my mood. I randomly pick up an unread
book from my bookshelf. Or when I see repetitive recommendations, I just
download the e-book & start reading. So, that’s that. And, I love the
freedom that comes along with it. There’s no pressure. However, this year, I am
doing something different. In 2020, since my main focus is going to be on
reading, I thought to make it a little HAPPENING.
Last year I was able to read 40
books quite easily. So, I thought of targeting 50 books, but then I came
up with this plan: 52 BOOKS IN 52
WEEKS! This is just one part of the 2020 Reading Challenge.
Another part is the interesting one. I always used
to see these lists of books on Pinterest. So, out of nowhere, I thought I ought
to make a list too! And, that is how I came up with the ULTIMATE
READING CHALLENGE! Below are the 52 types of books I plan on
reading! Some are as per genre, some are recommendations, some are random, some
are fun & lastly 6 books out of 52 can be anything I want to read. Because
I am a moody reader, I did not want to make too rigid a schedule. So, these 6
books will be breathing space for me.
I am super optimistic about the 2020 Reading
